Assistant Controller
JOB DESCRIPTION
As Assistant Controller at Hembrug Machine Tools, you will work closely with an experienced team consisting of 3 employees: Senior Administrator, Administrative Assistant and Controller. You mainly assist the Controller in preparing various reports such as monthly and annual figures, project and, warranty cost reports, CBS, budget and forecasting. You will also support the finance team where necessary with processing purchase invoices and preparing sales invoices. Since 2019, Hembrug has been part of the Spanish cooperative Danobat. The acquisition provides an international component, as well as additional opportunities for development and improvement. As Assistant Controller, you will be given every opportunity to contribute to this, make improvement proposals and implement them!
Job requirements:
- Completed HBO education in the direction of Finance & Control, Business Economics or Accounting.
- Several years of work experience in a financial position, preferably as Assistant Controller or Assistant Accountant.
- Ambitious and driven to increase the added value of the department together with the team.
- Excellent command of Excel.
- Initiative, independent and able to work systematically.
- Good communication skills in Dutch and English.

Als Assistent Controller bij Hembrug Machine Tools werk je nauw samen met een ervaren team bestaande uit 3 medewerkers: Senior Administrateur, Administratief Medewerker en Controller. Je assisteert voornamelijk de Controller bij het opstellen van diverse rapportages zoals maand- en jaarcijfers, project- en, garantiekostenrapportages, CBS, budget en forecasting. Daarnaast ondersteun je het finance team waar nodig met het verwerken van inkoopfacturen en het opstellen van verkoopfacturen. Sinds 2019 is Hembrug onderdeel van de Spaanse coöperatie Danobat. De overname zorgt voor een internationale component en extra mogelijkheden voor ontwikkeling en verbetering. Als Assistent Controller krijg je alle ruimte om hieraan bij te dragen, verbetervoorstellen te doen en deze uit te voeren!
Functievereisten:
- Afgeronde HBO opleiding in de richting van Finance & Control, Bedrijfseconomie of Accounting.
- Enkele jaren werkervaring in een financiële functie, bij voorkeur als Assistent Controller of Assistent Accountant.
- Ambitieus en gedreven om samen met het team de toegevoegde waarde van de afdeling te vergroten.
- Uitstekende beheersing van Excel.
- Initiatiefrijk, zelfstandig en in staat om systematisch te werken.
- Goede communicatieve vaardigheden in het Nederlands en Engels.
