Mechanical Design Technician

PURPOSE:

Design solutions and provide technical support to all Danobat functions in order to meet customer/market needs and achieve quality and cost within time frame, according to design process standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design innovative mechanical machine tool solutions that integrate customer needs while adding value.
• Focus on cost efficiency, manufacturing, assembly, and production timeframes, without compromising on quality.
• Prioritise safety in the design, complying with relevant standards.
• Work individually and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop crucial projects.
• Provide new technical ideas and criteria to refine and add value to the design while continuously helping to strengthen the mechanical design process.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: Mechatronics Engineer, Design Engineer, Industrial Engineer Degree or Master's Degree related to position.
• Languages: Basque level B1 and English level B2.
• Technical Skills:
  • Experience in machine design. Knowledge and experience in machining and assembly will be taken into consideration. 
  • Machine tool industry experience will be taken into consideration.
• A dynamic person with excellent communication and customer service skills.
• . A self-motivated person who is also a team player.
• Availability to travel.
